1. About TenantAI.com.au
TenantAI.com.au is an AI-powered tenancy information service designed to help renters better understand residential tenancy questions and situations.
The service currently focuses on New South Wales residential tenancy matters and may expand to other Australian states and territories in the future.
TenantAI.com.au may retrieve information from selected tenancy sources, including NSW tenancy legislation and regulations, NSW Government and Fair Trading resources, and trusted tenancy guidance.
2. General information only — not legal advice
TenantAI.com.au provides general information only and does not provide legal advice.
AI-generated responses may contain errors, omissions or information that may not apply to your particular circumstances.
For important tenancy questions or decisions, please check current NSW legislation and obtain independent legal advice before acting.
TenantAI.com.au is not a substitute for a lawyer, NSW Fair Trading, a tenancy advice service, tribunal or other qualified professional.
3. No guarantee of accuracy or outcome
TenantAI.com.au is designed to retrieve and explain relevant tenancy information; however, we do not guarantee that every response will be complete, accurate, current or appropriate for your individual circumstances.
Legislation, regulations, government information and other guidance may change over time.
TenantAI.com.au does not guarantee any particular result or outcome in a tenancy dispute, negotiation, tribunal proceeding or other matter.
4. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate and sufficient information when asking questions.
You should not provide unnecessary personal or sensitive information, including identification documents, banking details, passwords or other information that is not reasonably required for your tenancy question.
You must not:
- use TenantAI.com.au for unlawful purposes;
- attempt to access another user's account;
- interfere with or disrupt the service;
- attempt to circumvent question, subscription or usage limits; or
- scrape, copy or misuse the service.
5. Free questions
Eligible new users may receive 3 introductory questions free of charge, with no credit card required.
The free question allowance is introductory and is subject to the usage rules displayed by TenantAI.com.au.
6. Annual subscription
The current annual subscription is:
A$29 per year — up to 100 questions per subscription year.
The subscription period and applicable pricing will be displayed before payment.
Unused annual questions do not roll over into a new annual subscription period unless expressly stated otherwise.
7. Additional question top-ups
Users with a valid annual subscription may purchase:
100 additional questions for A$10.
Top-up questions may only be used while a valid annual subscription entitlement exists.
If an annual subscription expires, any preserved unused top-up balance may become unavailable for use until a valid annual subscription is restored.
8. Automatic renewal and cancellation
Annual subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the applicable renewal.
Users can manage or cancel their subscription through the billing management functionality provided by TenantAI.com.au.
Where cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid subscription period, access remains available until that paid period expires.
9. Refund policy
Except where required by applicable law, payments made to TenantAI.com.au are non-refundable, including where:
- you change your mind;
- you do not use the service;
- you do not use all available questions or credits; or
- you cancel during an existing paid subscription period.
Cancellation prevents future renewal but does not ordinarily result in a refund of the remaining portion of the current paid subscription.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
